A delicate blend of Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer.

 

THE SITE

Antonello Vineyard - Buffolo Creek, Alpine Valleys.  Pinot Gris.

Croucher Vineyard – Whitlands, King Valley.  Riesling

Cavedons Vineyard – King Valley. Gewurztraminer

 

WINEMAKING

Three parcels of fruit, all picked and fermented separately.

Pinot Gris – Machine harvested and allowed some skin contact before pressing. Cold settled and racked off heavy lees. Selected Yeast.  Stainless steel.

Riesling – Handpicked and whole bunch pressed.  Cold settled, racked clean.  Selected yeast. Stainless steel.

Gewurztraminer – Machine harvested.  Pressings, full solids, indigenous yeast.  Flex rocket. 

 

WINEMAKERS NOTES

Time on yeast lees and some skin contact have gifted the wine a lightly textural mouthfeel and a lingering creamy palate.

 

Nashi pear / Citrus Blossom /Lemon Curd / Delicate, yet persistent acid.
